Hi my name is Miranda Brown and I reside in New York City and I am the mother a of a 25 year old young man name Stephen Hewett-Brown.  On Decemeber 31, 2015 my son tragically lost his life. He and some others were stuck in a elevator that was defaulted. He was able to save a women and her grandson.  Unfortunately not his self.  My son was crushed to his death by this elevator.  While this act was a heroic one I am deeply saddened to have lost my son. I'm not surprised that he would that he would commit this selfless act.  He was a good person he would help anyone even give you the shirt off his back if he had to.  Some of you may have already heard about his story because its been circulated all around the world. Please help me honor my son so that I can give him the proper burial.  It would be so greatly appreciated if you could make a donation towards his heroism.  Thank you in advance.
