Amanda's Medical Fund

In mid-February, doctors discovered a large tumor in Amanda's lower abdomen that started causing enough havoc that she was taken into emergency surgery. Pathology confirmed cancer and she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer thus resulting in another surgery a week later. The cancer has not spread but because ovarian cancer is such an aggressive cancer, she will still need chemotherapy through the end of the school year.

As you can imagine the last few weeks have been life changing for her family. There have been some really tough days, but God’s hand is so obviously on this situation that she can’t help but shout His praises! She really saw that tumor as a miracle because it led to this diagnosis before the cancer spread which doesn’t happen often with ovarian cancer. Doctors are encouraged about her prognosis and she is confident that she will beat this!
