Friends, countrypersons, all good humans. Our friend's light has dimmed since receiving news that her furry best friend, Orion, has a typically fatal prognosis.
Meet Orion. He is a 6-month-old sweet, cherubic, apricot tabby. Krystina has raised him and his sister, Callisto, since they were 3 weeks old. She foster-failed hard! And adopted the shit out of them as soon as she could. Orion has brought so much indescribable joy and healing to our friend Krystina, during what has been such a difficult stretch of life (sincerely for us all!). Orion is a truly magical cat, a buffer to the sharp edges found in human life. The buffer we all deserve!
On Feb 08, 2021 Orion was given the prognosis of Feline Infectious Peritonitis - a fatal condition. His tests, medications, and care have currently totalled over $4000. The treatment he needs to continue receiving to potentially cure him will be a minimum of another $4000, not including the routine and ongoing bloodwork he will need and potential additional medications or procedures.
Krystina lost her 18yr old feline companion last summer and began fostering this past fall. She has helped 4 felines find their forever home, and we would love to help Orion keep his. We, her friends, have started this account to collectively share her burden however we can. You can too. Even a dollar will help. Truly! Orion is to Krystina, what Krystina is to us all. So a big thank you for your time, heart and consideration. Have a blessed day.
