Let me introduce myself.  My name is Luke Quinn, I’m 20 years old, living in Cobh Co Cork and anyone who knows me knows my passion in life is Football.

I signed up with an agency last year in the UK by the name of CSUSA who put together a portfolio for me and sent it out to all the Colleges in the States. I’ve had a couple of offers from different Colleges which, after much consideration weren’t right for me.

Just recently I’ve had an offer from a College in Northern California by the name of Feather River College to come join their team while also studying for my degree in Sport & Health Science. I’m due to start this Fall leaving Ireland End July/start of August as College starts there 1st week of August.

For me it’s the opportunity of a lifetime, all I’ve ever wanted is to play professional football and I feel honoured & beyond excited to be given this opportunity.

I work locally in Cobh in Spar and have been taking up extra shifts and working every hour & saving every penny I can since I started there last October in the hopes of one day getting an offer like this.

With that said, the fees are really high and while I do have a lot of the money saved myself and my parents are helping out also, I still need a bit more.

So I guess what I’m asking is if anyone would like to make a donation towards helping a young lad from Cobh fulfil his lifelong dream of playing football in America I would be forever grateful.
