The Owens Family
Donation protected
Raquel has formed her career around supporting refugees, women, mothers, and families who need a voice in our country. She pours her entire heart and soul into helping others on a daily basis. Josh and Raquel, usually with their boys in tow, have spent countless hours volunteering their time and energy to make a positive impact on those less fortunate or who need a hand. As parents, they have intentionally set such a wonderful example for their children of what it means to give. On December 11th, Raquel's home caught on fire and there was extensive damage. She is devastated that her two sons, ages 3 and 9 witnessed their home engulfed in flames and surrounded by emergency vehicles. Her first concern was that everybody (including the family's Great Dane, Hermit Crab, and Harry the Guinea Pig) were out and safe. Josh was home at the time but he was okay and made sure Raquel's grandmother and her brother who also live at the house, were okay. They are all scared, heart-broken, traumatized, but alive and okay. We're less than two weeks away from Christmas and the people who give everything to families who have nothing, need some help right now. Please consider donating to help this family have the resources to navigate the difficult road ahead and give their precious boys a smile on Christmas morning.
