On Thursday April 9th, 2026, my dad Eric was diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer. This diagnosis has been devastating for me and my entire family. Eric has been the only father figure in my life ever since I was three years old, and I could never imagine losing him. He will be going on chemo, but with that comes the cost of large medical bills. My dad has been the only source of income for my mom and my little sister, so with him out of work they will have no consistent income to support the three of them.
