The world needs to know Lhakpa Sherpa.
Lhakpa is the first Nepali woman to summit and survive Mount Everest and the most accomplished female climber of all time, holding the world record for 10 summits at age 50.
Lhakpa grew up in a remote mountain village in the Himalayas without electricity at a time when girls in Nepal were not granted access to education.
Lhakpa is a mother of three beautiful children who immigrated to the United States in search of a better life. She is a survivor of domestic violence.
Lhakpa has taken care of the elderly, cleaned houses, washed dishes, and worked at a Whole Foods, living paycheck to paycheck to support her family, her climbing ambitions, her dream of pursuing a better life.
Please support Lhakpa so she can continue to dream and climb any mountain that stands in her way.
Funds raised will go towards:
