For my birthday this year, I am asking for donations towards an Art Fund Project to allow me to go into Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade classes at Hardin Park Elementary to do art classes.

Art is a necessary form of expression for children but these classes do not have the opportunity to go into the art classroom during the school year.

 

I am trying to raise funds to help pay for the materials I would need to go into the classrooms at least 2 times a year to teach art (hopefully more if I get more donations). The funds would help around 240 students (or more)to have the ability to participate in several hours of art classes.

 

I estimate around $6.50 per child for supplies like canvases, paints, model magic and more. Around $100 would support 1 classroom!
