Debbie Blink Memorial Scholarship

Donation protected
On December 24, 2014, Debbie Blink, lost her courageous 3 1/2 year battle with cancer. She was a vibrant, energetic life force and active supporter of the arts, especially dance and colorguard.
Debbie marched as a colorguard member with the Star of Indiana Drum and Bugle Corps and was also active with the Star Alumni Association. She cherished her moments performing and deeply valued the friendships developed and how drum corps shaped her life. She continued to support drum corps, marching band, and winterguard as an instructor, spectator and all around fan. Through Debbie's generosity, she sponsored students who desired to march drum corps after their high school experience, giving them to learn life lessons as she did. She wanted to share her joy of the activity and made it possible for students who truly shared her passion to march in a competitive drum corps. In Debbie's memory, her friends would like to create the Debbie Blink Continuing Performance Scholarship for Indiana high school students who desire to march  drum corps. Through donations, we hope to establish a scholarship that can benefit multiple students for years to come, just as Debbie would have wanted it.
