Our dad is only 53 years old and we won't have him much longer without your help!
This is our Daddy, Bobby Allen Jr. He is joyful, loving and giving.He is a great husband, father and grand father to 7 grandkids whom love him dearly. He lights up every room with his great sense of humor and and big heart.
His kidneys are only functioning at 15% and dropping. He is in need of kidney Transplant from a live donor so that we can continue to enjoy the amazing man that he is. He has been told that it will take him 3-5 years of dialysis and waiting on the Kidney transplant list and it just isn't likely that he will live long enough in his current state. Our dad has survived so much including the suicide of his one and only son Bobby Allen III. At every turn obstacles have been placed in his path and he has gracefully kicked the obstacles aside. He is our hero and we can't bare to look into his grandchildren's eyes(ages 3-18), and tell them, that their "PaPops" is gone because we couldn't afford to keep him alive. How do we tell them that they can't call, talk, sing or tell him a knock knock joke?
This is an opportunity to help save his life! Please from a loving wife of 25 years, 2 daughters/son in laws and 7 young grandchildren, give what you can. No amount is to small when a life is on the line. He has been told that just one of many prescriptions that he needs will cost him $18,000. He does have insurance but it will not cover all of his expenses.
If anyone willing to get tested to see if you are a kidney donor candidate for him please message me. Our family is pulling together to see if any of us match, but in the case that we don't, we need you.
