Orphaned Kitten's Medical Fund

Donation protected
On Friday April 17, 2015 these two abandoned kittens were found by my husband’s unit at the K16 Airbase in South Korea. There was no guarantee where Apache (Male Tabby) and Kiowa (Female Calico) would end up so my husband and I chose to take them in and brought them to the local vet we use. They are currently residing at the SooJung Vet for two weeks until they stabilize and are clear of any disease. At the time we brought them there on Friday Kiowa was believed to have had a broken or dislocated back leg, she was in rough shape compared to her brother who appeared to be perfectly healthy.

Unfortunately today Tuesday April 21, 2015, I called the vet to check on how they were doing and got an estimated medical bill from the vet. The good news is that Apache is eating and gaining weight nicely, the vet said that he will be fine. Kiowa on the other hand is not gaining weight and after extensive x-rays it was revealed that her leg is not broken but they believe there is s nerve issue at hand. As of now they are unsure what the exact cause is, but she cannot use her back left leg. Furthermore, she is having trouble getting the gas out of her system which could be leading to her not wanting to eat as often and her lack of weight gain.

Due to the around the clock care and the x-rays for Kiowa the vet bills for these two precious babies is quite expensive. I will be visiting them at the vet’s again this weekend to get more pictures and a copy of the bill. Please, we would appreciate any help you can give to assist these little ones on their road to recovery!
