Hello my name is Kenny McCarron I am finding this very difficult to be asking people I don't know for help, it's hard enough asking people I know. I am usually the one helping others having worked in Emergency Medical Services since 1976, the past 31 years for a municipal EMS agency. My wife Drew has fought a now losing battle with lung & brain cancer she is now in hospice care at home. I have had to take a leave of absence from work for past 3 months to care for her. I have exhausted all the paid time off I had saved, I haven't received a paycheck for over a month, our savings are depleted. Sadly it seems the dept. can do nothing to help us, Drew was also a member of the dept. for 20 years before an injury ended her career. Our relief association & fellow dept. members have helped with donations but it still leaves us in a very difficult position. Any assistance that could be provided would be so greatly appreciated, this is the most difficult thing I've ever had to deal with. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
