Hello everyone!
Our really great friends, Heath Tuma and his wife Sam, have a dog named Tiki who overcame cancer 6 month ago. Tiki is a 3 year old gorgeous chocolate and caramel colored female dog that went through a lot of chemotherapy and came out clean, but was just diagnosed with cancer again a few days ago. This is a very costly procedure, so Marcus and I are fundraising in the attempt to help with their bill. So, what we are asking is for anyone touched by this story like us and who wants to help a gracious and kind military family and fellow boom operator, to donate towards this cause of offsetting the chemo costs for Tiki. Every $5 and $10 adds up!
You can either donate money on here or buy an awesome 386 page Hawaiian cookbook from us for $20, if you live on island, (originally $32, about 5 books left to be purchased, we both have books on hand for you to see.) If you want to donate in person, text or e-mail one of us individually, let me know us want to donate and we will get together.
ALL proceeds will go to this cause.
We ask that this stay out of the Tuma's earshot so we can keep it a secret until we have finished gathering donations. It will be the ultimate surprise :) The total of all donations will be given to them on February 3rd, and the cutoff to donate is February 1st. The sooner the better so that we know we are getting closer to reaching our fundraising goals! :)
Thank you very much for all your time, help, and wonderful support in this very important cause that is very close to our hearts.
We have reached our $3,000 goal but are still taking donations, so let's keep this going until Monday and see what we can do when we all come together! We would really appreciate your help to get that number as high as it can get!
