K I Sawyer Fitness Trail
You People is teaming up with Ryan Lipinski and the Sawyer Community Alliance to raise funds to rehabilitate the K I Sawyer fitness trail. The K I Sawyer Fitness Trail was originally a military physical training track that creates a 1.5 mile loop that follows the edge of a roaring Silver Lead Creek and then circles back through a picturesque rolling forest. Unfortunately this trail and its unique fitness stations have fallen into severe disrepair.

When the project is completed, there will be a total of 18 stations, a covered picnic area, picnic tables, and a bike rack.

Our goal is to make this a trail for all ages and physical abilities to enjoy year round, and future plans involve having a groomed snowshoe, and cross country ski loop as well as a bilingual interpretative trail.

Already a lot of progress has been made, the stations have been cleared of debris and we are at the point where we are ready to start construction. Every station needs some work done to it, whether its a fresh coat of pant or a complete replacement. You People will be putting 100% of the funds collected towards the materials required for this project and anything left over will be used to maintain the project moving forward. Please help us restore this wonderful asset to our community.
