Today is my birthday.

Birthdays have a funny way of making you pause and reflect. Most of us are lucky enough to celebrate with friends, family, a good meal, maybe some cake.

But many children around the world don’t get that same chance.

So this year I thought I’d try something a little different. Instead of gifts, if anyone feels inclined, consider donating to UNICEF. They work around the world to provide children with food, healthcare, education, and protection.

No pressure at all — even a small contribution can make a difference.

Either way, I’m grateful for another year around the sun and for the people in my life.
