Help Ania to fight the cancer

Hi, my name is Danuta. I have a 38-year-old daughter with 2 children, for whom she must live.

She has triple negative cancer. Her story started in 2018 when she detected a small lump. After all the tests were done it was confirmed that it was nipple abscess. Six months of antibiotics and everything went back to normal. In 2020 she detected another small lump and was immediately terrified. The doctor visited and explained she had enlarged glands and asked her to come back in 6 months’ time.

In March 2021 she had another doctor’s appointment, and this was something we will all remember for the rest of our lives. A scan followed by many of other tests confirmed she has got rare a BRC1 breast cancer with a genetic mutation that spread to her lymph nodes. Her treatment started with intravenous chemotherapy, and after which she lost her hair and even her nails started to fall off. As a mother it was a very heart-breaking experience, but I had to stay strong for her and my two grandchildren.

Following chemotherapy, she had to go through a double mastectomy that removed a tumour from her breast but not from her glands, so soon she will also have her ovaries removed. Unfortunately, triple negative cancer is the most aggressive and there are no drugs to cure this type of cancer unless you have lots of money. And this is why I would like to collect as much money as I can to help my only daughter, so she can see her two amazing children grow up. We would like to raise around £90,000 to pay for a new drug called Trodelvy that is only available from America, this will give her more time to enjoy as much of life as she can with her children.

As a desperate mother, I feel this is now our only option and would like to say a massive thank you in advance for your support.
