We are jumping in with both feet to adopt a sibling for our sweet little boy, who we adopted about 7 years ago after trying unsuccessfully for years to have a child on our own. We were almost able to adopt twice, privately, since his birth, but were heartbroken when birthparents chose to keep. Now we are going through the most widely known promoter in the US, who is in great need of adoptive parents. We feel hopeful that we could welcome a little one quickly with their help! We are seeking to adopt an infant, since we speak German at home and it's a huge part of our son's identity that we'd like to continue. As you can imagine, it's humbling to ask people for money so that we can add to our family.
