Hi, my name is Trina and I’m fundraising for our dear friend Tim and his family. Tim is facing some very heavy health issues and needs our help.
Just a couple weeks after celebrating his one year wedding anniversary with his wife Brii, Tim was rushed to the ER on the morning of Sunday August 27th due to severe chest pain and trouble breathing. Moments after arriving he collapsed in the ER lobby from a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest in front of his wife and young daughter Alanna. After 40 minutes of resuscitation, including 6 shocks from the defibrillator, he was miraculously stabilized and later transported to a nearby trauma center where he went straight into cath Lab to have 2 stents placed. During this procedure he coded once again and was shocked a 7th time before getting a pulse back.
After 5 days in ICU he was moved to a step down unit where he was then told he had developed blood clots in his left leg, lung and heart. 24 hours after adding a 3rd blood thinner to his medication regimen he started to have internal bleeding which led him to needing a consult from gastroenterologist.
Fast forward 24 days of being hospitalized he was finally seen by a gastroenterologist for a colonoscopy where things took a turn for the worst. They found that the bleeding was coming directly from a mass in his colon. On September 20th he and his wife were confronted with the hard realization that Tim was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer. He is currently starting Radiation in-patient as he still has some hurdles to overcome due to the state of his heart before being able to undergo surgery.
With chemotherapy and surgery as well as other medical expenses on the horizon this family would be eternally grateful for any donation amount.
Tim is the sole provider of his family as his wife unfortunately lost her job to a company closure earlier this year. After already over a month off of work and the uncertainty of when he will be able to return, his family is asking for any possible help they can get during this difficult time. With his wife adding full time care giver on top of full time mom, finding a job with enough flexibility to take him to treatments and care for him hasn’t been easy to come by. Any financial relief for this family in need would be appreciated beyond words. Thank you for taking the time to read their story.
