hi, i'm petal, i'm 26, disabled, i originally set this gofundme up to try to escape my abusive mother, who then made me homeless after mentally, emotionally + financially abusing me for years. i'm currently staying in london, but along with the building/also this city being so inaccessible there are three of us in a one bedroom flat, we are also dealing with a very aggressive, hostile neighbour who has threatened me with rape. i have received no support from the housing council who, despite having medical evidence provided as well as a doctors letter explaining i am a priority need for housing, have written me off as they have "decided" i do not "suffer with a disability" (they are not medical professionals or trained in any way to make such a decision) i live with daily pain, exhaustion, frequent illness, as well as mental health issues including ptsd. i've lost access to my counselling services, i've had a further decline in my physical + mental health since moving to london but i have nowhere else to go, i'm not safe here, all i want is my own safe space to live. it is near impossible to save up because london is so expensive plus majority of my possessions are in a storage unit that is costing me £156 a month. i'm still trying to get p.i.p but as i'm sure most people know it's an incredibly long, drawn out, exhausting process. this gofundme is all i have, please help me.
