On 11-27-24, my father was struck by a vehicle in Dinuba, CA. He was transported to Kaweah Health where he had emergency brain surgery and survived. He spent 4 months in the hospital recovering. Unfortunately, the brain injury caused other health issues like heart failure and dementia. After his recovery, he was well enough to be released on hospice. Six months into hospice, he was doing well; his stomach tube was removed and his trachea. But unfortunately, the next 6 months he started declining. His short-term memory faded, and his heart was working on less than 20%. My father became really tired, his legs became weaker, he started falling a lot, and he slept most of the time. On January 15, 2026, my father, Ralph Abina, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home to meet with our Lord Jesus Christ and his mother, Lupe Abina.

Ralph had two daughters, Victoria and Annissa Abina. He had 8 grandchildren: Adrianna, Kimberly, Zachary, Michael, Emily, Aiden, Anthony, and Ezra'kai.

Ralph Abina was a father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He had a funny sense of humor and a big heart for others. He loved homemade cooking, superheroes, Marvel, hard rock metal, and worship music. My father was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and was very fortunate to teach his children about God. Ralph's wishes were to be cremated and buried with his father, Ralph Abina.
