Thank You, Zim

Hey FARCer family,
This is an (on the QT) fund to thank our friend Zim, who dropped everything and flew across the country to be with, and to help care for, our dying FARCer family member, the mighty Dave Flynn. (Please don't share on Facebook, just messenger or e-mail to help keep it under his radar).
We met the random goal l came up with quickly with amazingly generous donations, and I hope more will come in. I would love to see enough for Zim to have met his expenses and have enough to do something wonderful for himself to recoup and restore himself. He just lost his brother, so losing another, his much loved FARC brother, was a lot to bear.
I plan to close this after Thanksgiving weekend and get a cashier's check made out to Zim which I will send him with a "Thank You" note from FARC and a framed photo of the two of them together.
Could you all send me an e-mail thank you note to him and address it to me at [email redacted] ? I will cut and paste all the thank you notes onto the card. I know he will be surprised and deeply touched.
