NHS thank you

My mum was sadly admitted to hospital on the 19th Oct following a diagnosis of Covid 19. Sadly my mum deteriorated and is currently ventilated and fighting for her life on Intensive Care at Aintree Hospital. My mum is brave, tough but gentle and precious and always cares about others. As her son and a nurse, its been heartbreaking not being able to be with mum, holding her hand and reassuring her,seeing the hurt this is causing my family. My mums battle and our heartache has been made that bit easier knowing that my mum has the best people possible looking after her. From the 999 call handler to my colleagues across NWAS, the A+E, ward 23 and ITU staff at Aintree Hospital who are caring for mum, you have all give my mum and us a fighting chance. I want to be able to repay the staff back in some way by raising money to help with staff welfare and helping family members in a similar situation to us. Please help me and my family raise vital funds to thank our NHS staff but to help families who find themselves in our situation. Do it for my mum Wendy. Thank you xxx
