For the Boys

Hi, my name is Marcia Stander and one of my besties is Carla Gottsch. I've loved her from the first day we met over a decade ago and she's been one of my peeps ever since. We've been through sooooooo much together. I've never done anything like this before, but I am asking for help from any of you that might have a little extra to give.

This is a picture of Carla's grandson's Cruz, Anthony, and Ben. They are adorable, innocent, bonded brothers that are typically fun loving, giggly, energetic, creative, and silly. They LOVE each other immensely plus their mom, dad, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. In June everything changed abruptly, their dad Vincent Macias was killed in a horrific automobile accident. Not only did they lose their dad, they lost life as they knew it and their mom Lauren as they knew her. Lauren is Carla's oldest daughter, she's passionate, she's beautiful inside and out, she's an excellent mother, and she would do anything for those she loves!

We all experienced Lauren's determination and courage to pick up the pieces and keep going! The whole situation has been extremely overwhelming, depleting and defeating to Lauren. She's been struggling to survive. This once fiercely strong young mother never even had time to grieve the loss of Vincent and figure out their new way without him. She was thrust right back into work, life, and motherhood without any time to grieve and process all that just happened. She consistently tried her best but all the grief, despair, stress, worry, and loss literally took its toll. She spiraled down a deep hole and hit rock bottom and now more than ever this little family needs help making ends meet with medical bills, counseling, clothing, rent, food, EVERYTHING while they figure out how to once again try and move forward from here. I know that helping Lauren with the every day expenses for a few months will give her opportunity to try and heal, get some wind back in their sails and get going with life again. Please help if you can.
