Waylon is a 6 year old boy from New Braunfels, Texas. Waylon has been battling Stage IV Neuroblastoma for over 3 years. He persevered through numerous rounds of chemo, antibodies, and countless other treatments in an effort to slay the dragon (cancer). After months of aggressive treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (in Memphis, TN), Waylon was finally declared No Evidence of Disease (NED) in September 2014.
Waylon recently returned to St. Jude for follow up scans and his family now faces another serious challenge. The MRI revealed 6 Neuroblastoma spots in Waylon's brain. Waylon needs our support now more than ever. Please keep Waylon and his family (his parents, Chris & Stacy and his twin sister, Morgan) in your thoughts and prayers as they weigh treatment options for this new development.
Money raised will be given in full to the Malone family to help with the expenses related to Waylon's treatment. At this time, the clinical trial they hope Waylon is approved for would take place in part at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York. The travel and living expenses are the last thing we want this family to worry about. Please share this page with anyone who may be able to help Waylon slay this dragon for good!
The Warriors for Waylon group can be found on Facebook.
