Hello friends and family. I'm reaching out to ask for your help. My current situation is pretty bad. I hate asking, but I don't think I can manage to fix this alone.

I've had a pretty rough year. In May, my 17-year relationship suddenly ended. I was devastated, and since then, my whole life has fallen apart.

I had to replace the hybrid battery in my car twice, which put me out of work for almost 3 months. Once my car was fixed, I went back to work full force, working 12-15 hours a day in order to cover my rent and bills alone.

This has really taken a toll on me both physically and mentally. I was exhausted and began having medical and mental health issues.

My feet and hands were numb all the time. Then, suddenly one day, the numbness quickly spread to my whole body up to my neck. I spent 2 weeks in bed terrified, depressed, and afraid to find out what was going on. Finally, I went to the emergency room and was able to relieve some of my pain through medication. The end result of some diagnostics is that I need spinal surgery.

However, because of my current housing and financial situation, I need to get my life back on track before I can have that surgery. Right now, I am still unable to work full time. I don't qualify for disability because I'm an independent contractor. I'm drowning in bills that are 2-3 months behind. My water has been shut off for over a month.

I am working on getting help through various government programs, but those take time. I'm in need of some financial relief to help with rent, bills, and some holistic medical options that are not covered by my insurance.

I know the timing of this request is not necessarily the best because the holidays are coming, but in the spirit of giving, could you see your way towards donating to my GoFundMe?
