My dear friends and family,
I’ve asked for your prayers and today I’m going to have to ask for money too.
I have come to the place where I must consider all possibilities, engage all ready active souls wanting to help me, and plunge headlong into raising funds to purchase my home. I have lived here for 10 years, I have planted gardens, built trellises and raised beds, built a deck, and made numerous improvements to the property because I love this piece of property and this home.
My landlord has decided that this property must sell in the year 2020, and that if I’m not able to make that a reality, then it goes to someone else, the highest bidder.
Raising funds means a full range plan including a fundraiser with music, dancing, and silent auction to be announced in January 2020; the launch of Mama Deb’s CBD products; the sale of personal items; and a Go Fund Me account.
Although I have been hesitant to start the go fund me account, I have shifted my thinking to realizing community response is how we help each other, like a barn-raising and harvesting in the past, when we came together as a community and helped each other as a group. None of us can survive alone, we need each other, and we help each other. It takes a village!
Since my bout with cancer depleted all my savings, and continues to be costly to pay for treatments, testing, supplements, and medical services ( naturopathy, acupuncture, lymphatic massage, etc.) to maintain status quo, I am asking for your help.
My Family has gone all out to help me, and we can qualify for a conventional loan in several months, however we must raise the down payment which is $30,000. I have raised $3,000 of that at this point and will continue to sell items, and do what I can to reach that goal.
I appreciate you support, even $1.00 helps get me to that goal! Please share with your friends who know me. If you have fundraising ideas to share with me, please do.
Every dollar raised will go into an account specifically for the downpayment, and will be used for that purpose. Thank you in advance for your love and support!!!
