It is with deepest regret that we inform you of the passing of Brent Davis, a long-time Supervisor in Plant City. Brent was doing what he enjoyed, fishing with a co-worker on Sunday Night, when he was taken in a tragic boating accident. He was a James Hardie employee for more than 20 years and had risen from a Pulp Plant Operator to a Lead, then a Supervisor. He also spent a few years working in Sales where he brought his great knowledge of the product to the people who use it.

Brent led many people over the years and played an outsized role in helping to create fiber-cement experts in Plant City. Brent had friends throughout the company  and had worked with people who are now in locations across the country. He was highly respected for his knowledge, work ethic, and strong character. He was without a doubt, a very good man.

Brent is survived by his son,  Zach, 19 and his daughter, Marissa, 14. He will be missed very much and will always  be a part of the James Hardie team.
