Hi Everyone! I am here in hopes of raising money for a dear friend. Someone I, as well as many others truly admire.
As some of you may know Lee Anne has recently recieved some very scary and unfortaunte news. She has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Colon Cancer and will undergo surgery April 5th, 2016 at MSK (Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital) in hopes to remove the cancer. This hospital is located in New York so Lee Anne will need to travel 2 hours each way for surgery, several appointments, and chemo/radiation treatment afterwards. Nothing can prepare you for the devastation felt by a potentially deadly disease. She has remained positive and calm and has taken all the right steps to getting this under control. Once the shock of the news set in and subsided, the consideration of the financial strain begun to run through her head.
Lee Anne is the type of person to put everyone before herself. She lives a life of sunshine who promotes a healthy, active lifestyle. It is such a shame to see a wonderful person fall victim to such a devastating illness. Through this process she has kept a smile on her face while picking up every single extra hour at work she can to cover all future costs.
The type of surgery she is having will put her out of work for 2 months at a minimum which is why I have created this account. As you know, cancer is one of the many diseases that comes with a mountain of bills and expenses. This is our chance to help Lee Anne raise money for her hospital bills, treatments, future appointments, and living expenses, as she is a single parent working as much over time as she can to make ends meet.
Let's ease her mind and financial burden as she fights this terrifying illness! Most importantly, please pray for positivity and health as she would for anyone going through the same thing!
