It is with a heavy heart that I have to write this, My brother Christian Lanear passed away on May 1st, 2024. Not enough can be said to truly and fully explain Christian’s character. The way he was able to make anyone smile, make them feel like they belong, or making sure they know that they always have someone to lean on if they ever needed it. It feels like everyone in GV has a moment they’d be able vividly talk about with Christian. Christians funeral costs are covered by our insurance however Christian was helping my mom pay rent, my Mom Jessica Lanear also wants to hold a celebration of life for Christian so the money from this gofundme will go towards both helping with rent, his celebration of life, and other expenses that may come. Christian was a special guy with big plans. He wanted to come back and become a teacher to continue to spread his light and help raise and educate the next generation.
