Jessica’s Cancer Battle

Hello! My name is Claudia and I am starting this GoFundMe for my wonderful girlfriend, Jessica. December of 2021 Jessica went to the doctor with discoloration in her left arm, and after being sent to the ER they found an 8x9cm mass in her upper left chest which caused a blood clot in her left shoulder. After biopsies and scans, it was determined that the mass is a high grade B-cell lymphoma (since named Judith). Jessica will be undergoing an initial six rounds of chemotherapy to demolish Judith, and so far she’s doing great and is a powerful warrior! I am hoping this fundraiser will be able to offset some of the medical bills from this journey.

The Friday before her diagnosis, Jessica graduated from Pittsburg State University in SE Kansas with her degree in Biology education. She completed her student teaching in Andover, KS at Andover Middle School teaching 6th grade science with Mrs. Andrea Friend, who has continued to be a tremendous supporter for Jessica. At this time, she has moved back home with her parents, Bryon and Stacy, and younger brother, Evan, for the duration of her treatment. Jessica also spends lots of time with her sister, brother-in-law, and one-year-old niece, Emilee, Tyler, and Avery. She is enjoying being back home and around family. In her free time, she loves to snuggle her dog, Maxx, and hang out with her best friends, Isabel, Avery, and Reagan.
