Hello Family and Friends,
Our Analise is a talented dancer and passionate about ballet. Many of you helped make this happen by providing initial financial support and contributing to Analise’s successful experience at Ballet Tech in NYC in 2017. (http://www.gofundme.com/manage/analisehughes-com)
She attended Ballet Tech for 4 years until covid caused the school to change to virtual. We relocated to St. Paul during the pandemic. Once here her commitment to classical ballet led her Ballet Co. Laboratory. There she has taken intense lessons several times a week and has performed in professional productions of “The Snow Queen” and “The Wild Rumpus”. She will be performing in “Carmen” in May. Her amazing and graceful moves now include dancing in pointe shoes. She has endured the sore toes, aching feet and legs like a determined focused ballerina.
Analise independently sought out several national intensive programs. While accepted at all four programs, she has her heart set on the Boston Ballet program. (https://bostonballet.org/education-program/summer-dance-program)
The program runs from 6/27 to 7/28. There she will live on-campus (with two of her friends) and attend professional ballet training M-F from 9-6. This is a very expensive program but an amazing personal and professional opportunity that we hope Analise can attend.
She has received a $1,000 scholarship through Boston Ballet and has applied for additional financial aid through “Brown Girls Do Ballet” and “Dancewear Corner”.
We are hoping you would consider contributing to her ‘go fund me’.
Any contributions are greatly appreciated.
We will update you about Analise and her incredible journey.
