We are neighbors of the Richmond Market at 41st and Bolboa Street in San Francisco. Our dear friend John, who works at the market was violently assaulted while working on August 24th and suffered a major head injury. He is currently in the ICU in serious condition and the neighborhood is praying for his recovery. We know his wife and children will need financial support during this time of crisis.

We all want to do something to help John so we started this GoFundMe account. John has been here day in and day out, sharing our lives, selling us snacks and drinks, always with kind words and a smile. He is beloved by many in our neighborhood for his warm spirit and gentle demeanor. We are heartbroken that this tragedy has befallen him, and hope that we can help John and his family in this small way.
