Melissa Palys Medical Fund

We have set up the Go Fund Me account in hopes that we can raise money to help support Melissa Palys, a daughter, grand daughter, god daughter, sister, niece, cousin, true friend... our loving family member while an aggressive strand of chrons disease has recently invaded the last few months of her life. Melissa, who is only 27 yrs old, began having issues that lead her to the hospital for emergency surgeries on several occasions. Her most recent visit, ended with an outcome that she will be unable to return to work while portions of her intestines have to heal on the outside of her body for the next 3-6 months, and after approximately 6 months, she will have to endure yet another major surgery. She lives with her girlfriend Shannon, her dog Stella, and the newest member their cat Lola. Melissa has always worked with children and this healing time will truly bring the blues of not seeing the children she loves and cares for each day. This is a financially difficult time for her, as her medical bills are continuing to rise,  and she is without income. As her Godmother, I have set up this account in hopes that our community around us can help take even just a small portion of this devastating time away from her worries, so she can heal and know she doesn't have to lose the life she has worked so hard to have. We love you Melissa, you give more of yourself to others then anyone we know and we are hoping that financial help at this time of need, helps to lessen the stress so you can recover and thrive, and get back to what you do best... care for the children you love with your beautiful, genuine heart.
