Heart Transplant
Donation protected
Hi, this is Dee Dee, (Pastor) Monique Robinson’s sister. She is at UCLA Medical Center in Westwood, awaiting a heart transplant.
In 2013, she was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy. Her heart failed to 15%. A few years later, her heart function got better, but in 2020 it failed again. This time, 22%. In 2022, her heart stopped at a baseball game, and her husband and another nurse performed CPR on her for five minutes. It traumatized her husband and, especially her son.
She received an internal defibrillator, but since then her heart has stopped seven times. Five times at home and twice on the operating table during an ablation. The ablation was unsuccessful.
On February 2nd her heart stopped twice, once at home, and once in the ER. The Cardiologist said, the only solution at this point is a heart transplant. Her heart is too weak not to have one.
They are drowning in past medical expenses and more to come after the heart transplant. Also, my brother-in-law will have to take a minimum of three months off to care for her. Our mother is also coming. Many have asked how they could help and this is the greatest need so they won’t lose anything.
Unfortunately, she can’t have visitors or flowers in the CCU (cardiaccardiac critical unit). If the Lord lays it on your heart to give, I pray you receive 10-fold in return.
Cards or grocery gift cards (Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, or Sprouts) can be sent to:

And please keep Monique in your prayers. She’s very excited about the transplant because she has been sick for over 10 years. Pray for the doctors, surgeon, and the donor’s family that will be giving this precious gift.
Much love and gratitude to all of you,
Dee Dee
