Support Jeff's Battle

Donation protected
On Sunday Feb 26th, Jeff suffered cardiac arrest following diabetic ketoacidosis and pulmonary embolism. 40 minutes of skilled CPR later, he was stabilized and hooked up to many life-saving machines. Finally after 9 days of sedation and continued life-saving care and treatment in the ICU surrounded by family and close friends, he is awake and ready to begin the long road to recovery. This is nothing short of a miracle! But he's not out of the woods yet. Jeff isn't going to let nonfunctioning kidneys or blood clots stop him from fighting - he is clearly a fighter to have made it this far, and will continue to be a fighter as he definitely wants to be here for his family.

Let's fight for Jeff now and help him in this ongoing battle! He will need continued inpatient and eventually outpatient care, including dialysis and rehabilitation. Unfortunately, Jeff was impacted last month by layoffs at Starbucks HQ and while he does have continuing insurance through COBRA, the bills are still going to be massive and we don't know yet how long this journey will be. Anything you can contribute would be a tremendous help, and of course 100% goes straight to Jeff's medical bills. Thanks so much for your love, support and prayers - we know so many people out there want to help and it is greatly appreciated.
