In Loving Memory of Jeff

In Jeff's words....he was a real one.

I write this on behalf of the hundreds of people Jeff touched. I met Jeff and Landy a couple years into moving to Los Angeles. I just adopted a high-energy puppy that needed some direction. I ran into them - as most have - at the Eagle Rock rec center and - four years later - they became some of my best friends in this city. They loved this community, our dogs, and each other deeply. If you were lucky enough to be part of their orbit, you know how much Jeff cared for every single one of us and our canine counterparts. He really just cared so much - about how our week was, what we were going through and how he could make it better with just a few words. I can hear his voice now reminding us how lucky we are - to be out on this beautiful LA day, to have such a special dog, and to be alive. Jeff was a peaceful force in this chaotic world....one that we will miss deeply.
