Please support Sharla and family in the recovery process. Every little helps and is much appreciated!
Update from Sharla's daughter on April 15th:
Mom is doing good. She's stable and consistently improving. Her doctor estimates that she will wake up and be more aware within the next month (which is normal for this type of injury). For now she still answers questions by squeezing our hands.
She had two successful procedures today and will be more comfortable long term. She now has a trach and a feeding tube. In time with therapy she might not need them.
Her CT scans look good and they are keeping he blood pressure down so the brain can continue to heal itself. Slow and steady wins the race.
