Search and Rescue Team Needs Help

Dear Friends and Community Members,

Mindful of the busy lives caring individuals lead, I have condensed this call to action to save your time, but feel free to gain more details by following the link to the website

I hope each of you has the  2017 New Year off to a great start and had a wonderful Holiday season.  As you know the holiday season is about family and togetherness, but for the families of the 90,000 missing persons in America, this time of year only reminds them of their loss.  In September of 2016 equipment that is critical to  AZ STaR's mission of reuniting missing persons with their loved ones, was stolen from its storage location.  Today I am asking you to consider making a donation, reaching out to potential contacts or corporations, or participating in one of our fundraising campaigns.  This organization is 100% volunteer b ased and all members are responsible for purchasing their own personal equipment and helping to fundraise for the necessary Team equipment.  The commitment is a large one and that is why losing the team equipment to theft has such a huge impact.

AZ STaR was formed by a group of volunteers to provide to the public, trained airscent and trailing dog/handler teams who also have specialized training for Alzheimer's, cadaver, evidence and water searches.  This organization saves invaluable time when a person is missing and every minute counts.   AZ STaR's corporate office located here in Peoria, Arizona, but their highly sought after services have stretched accross the United States as well as into other countries such as Mexico, Canada and Japan.

The equipment invcluded a 10 ft trailer containing very sensitive communication and miscellaneous equipment.  Specifically the portable repeater which was programmed exclusively for AZ STaR's FCC channel and allowed the teams to maintain communication regardless of location.  I have included some of the items that have caused the most devastation.  As you can imagine losing an entire command post and its contents can have devastating effocts on a non-profit organizations' ability to function.

     Champion Invertor Generator
     6 watt ICom Mobile Radio
     25 Watt Portable IDAS Repeater
     10 foot Trailer

All donations will be used to replace our invaluable stolen equipment and outfit our team for future missions in finding the communituy's missing loved ones.

Thank you for taking the time to review and share our campaign. There is no dontation too small, every bit helps.

Your donation will help us to save lives and reunite the families with their missing loved ones.
