Thank you all for the continuous prayers! The purpose of this fundraiser is to support Warren and his family during this extended healing process. Warren Roberts has been an educator for over 15 years and currently a teacher with Bessemer City Schools, in Alabama. Being the caring person that he is, he offered to assist his brother to a doctor’s appointment in Louisiana but soon turn for the worst. He first stated feeling chest pain and then lost feeling in his left leg. Ambulance rush him to the hospital with a blood pressure of 250/130 and was thought to have a blood clot, but then was told it was a ruptured artery, that then collapsed during surgery and had to be repair. He was then told he had kidney failure and had to start dialysis right away, and on oxygen continuously. Things improve and all of a sudden decline quickly.Warren was airlifted to UAB hospital where they found a leak in his aorta which cause him to have emergency open heart surgery to repair the leak and was given a small chance of survival, but GOD! We were told his left leg would be amputated, but we are believing God for complete restoration. To date Warren has had eight surgeries, recently to repair the mobility of his leg and currently on dialysis. His wife will now become a caregiver and they have a long road ahead. We are asking for your continuous prayers and financial support to help with medical, travel ,now housing that will accommodate his mobility, and day to day expenses that continue to grow for his family especially his wife and children. Thank you in advance for all that you do and I am praying 100 fold return on anything given.
