Oct 7th, 2025, my father was experiencing complications due to his recent medical surgery, resulting in a cardiac arrest. My mom, Misty, and brother, Dylan, ran by his side, supporting him, providing cpr and immediately calling medical services.

20 years ago, on October 7th, 2005, my parents said their "I do's" to each other, and now my mother is standing beside him. Both fighting for his life.

My father, Jimmy, went into the hospital at 1am and experienced another cardiac arrest episode. Due to the medication he is on, he obtained blood clots in both lungs. Being given a high dose, blood thinner, once arriving to the hospital to break down the clots, his left lung still contained a massive blood clot resulting in a surgery to extract it.

My father has been the breadwinner in my family after my mother's experience with her own medical issues. He is a truck driver hauling fruits since we moved to the PNW. Now that he has fallen ill, we are all scared. Scared of the unknown. 

Myself and my older sister, Nicole are 3000 miles away from them across the country, only being updated by a phone call.
