Since 2009, Salt Design Cabinet & Mill has been building cabinets for homes across the Wasatch Front. It started as side jobs for Braden and Tina Smith while they both worked at other shops during the day. They quickly grew large enough that, 2 years ago, Braden & Tina were able to quit their day jobs and live their dream by going into business on their own.  

After a very successful 2014, they were enjoying the holidays at a family party when they got a riveting call.  It was a neighbor telling them their building was on fire. They rushed out to the shop to find it completely engulfed in flames. The tragic fire took everything: the warehouse, equipment, tools, inventory, and completed jobs.  The fire department declared everything a total loss.  

I have watched them day in and day out for years - working hard to do anything they had to in order to grow their business.  It has been an amazing journey to see where they have taken their business in such a short amount of time. They will continue their hard work, but have hit a hurdle in the road. I am here trying to raise money for my best friends so they can continue doing business.  Any and all donations are appreciated. The donations will go to helping pay for replacing completed jobs, new equipment, and all other costs they will have to incur to get their business back on its feet. This will mean so much to their family who has had such a devastating event occur this holiday season.
