Janie Versus Cancer
In early September Janie Burnham was given the news that every person fears, she had lung cancer. Her tumor was over 3 inches in diameter. It was pressing against the blood vessels of her heart and causing excruciating pain. Janie decided that the C. R. Wood cancer center was where she would go to get her answers. The tumor was inoperable because it was too close to the heart and too large. The cancer center recommended Boston Brigham and women's hospital. Dr. Swanson of Boston said he would do the surgery if glens falls could shrink the tumor. The wonderful Drs and nurses did just that! Janie has completed six weeks of chemotherapy and daily radiation. Soon Janie will be returning to Boston for a very delicate surgery to remove the tumor. Imagine going through this and not having any income! The co-pays, medical expenses and every day bills are piling up. Janie can no longer work so her loving family and friends are asking you to help! Please donate what you can to help Janie get through this difficult journey.
