So as you know I am 39 years old and I was just diagnosed with ALS in October 2019. It's crazy when people tell you in one second your whole life can change. Well let me tell you in those 30 seconds my world was flipped upside downI was a hard worker, down to try and do anything... loved dancing, going out with family and friends. Weekend bbqs at our house and holidays. Love my family to the fullest...the best aunty, daughter, sister and niece, stepparent and wife in the world. I was a strong independent and stubborn lady. Nothing was going to stop me. Having ALS has robbed me of that. And will rob me of alot more.I Have a great husband by my side, but now my entire family's life has changed.I can no longer walk on my own, shower, get dressed, or get in and out of bed. I can no longer work so my husband is now the sole provider and now with Corona it's even harder. I cant drive or work. I can only use my right hand now but that's getting weak. And my voice is going awayI'll get to a point were I'll not be able to feed myself or swallow or talk.We are going to need a few things to modify my car for the time being until we need a new car to get me around. Insurance and meds are expensive. Along with my electric wheelchair that has to be customized to fit me.I'm not the type to ask for help but I dont know what God's plans are and how long I'm left in this world but I want to not worry about all the bills and maybe take a vacation before I cant.So I ask and this is hard for me...if you can...times are hard for all I know.. donate to help us out...if you cant donate please share..
