My Dear Brothers and Sisters

Assalamalaikum warehmatullahi wabarakatuh

As we sit in the comfort of our homes, our hearts are heavy, our eyes are wet, and our souls are restless. The images and stories emerging from Gaza are a pain that words cannot fully capture. It is a reality so harsh, so unimaginable, that language fails us. The suffering of our brothers, sisters, and especially the innocent children is a deep wound on the collective heart of the Ummah.

Every day, the situation becomes harder. The struggle for a morsel of food, a sip of clean water, and a moment of safe shelter is a daily reality for them. They are living through a test of unimaginable magnitude, and their patience is a lesson for us all.

Allah, in His infinite wisdom, has presented us with a profound opportunity—a test of our own faith and humanity.

*While people I have reached out are hesitating, questioning how their small contribution could possibly help, we must understand that this is not about our calculations; it is about our conviction.

Allah says in the Holy Quran: *“Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so that He may multiply it for him many times over?”* (Quran 2:245)

This is not merely charity; this is an investment for our Akhirah. This is a chance to answer the silent cries of those whose prayers are rising to the heavens. We must not let fear or doubt prevent us from easing their burden. Let us fear Allah, who is watching our response to His creation in dire need.

Let us open our hearts and our hands freely, without hesitation. Let us give for the sake of Allah alone, seeking nothing but His pleasure. Let our actions be a source of comfort for them and a source of salvation for us.

*The opportunity is now. The need is urgent. Let us not be among those who turned away.*
