Amos Williams otherwise known as "Famous Amos" and "Papa" went to his primary care doctor on October 16, 2015. Amos express his concerns and asked her to touch his stomach so she could fell that something was wrong since she didn't pay attention to obvious swollen stomach which was causing pain. He also mentioned he was nauseous, short of breath and unable to eat. Spots on his body and everything that was abnormal he mentioned. She told him "your fat and only eat one piece of meat and no starches" and sent him on his way home with a prescription for indigestion dispite the complaints of pain in his stomach and massive swelling.
October 18, 2015 the pain in his stomach was so severe, he was weak and vomiting so he went to the emerengy room. The Emergency Doctor was not happy with what Amos's primary care physician told him and started a number of tests which determined he has terminal liver cancer. At that time they drained 7 liters of fluid from his stomach and kept him in the hospital until October 21, 2015.
October 22, 2015 he had an appointment with the oncologist and was told the cancer had spread to his spine and he has only 4-6 months to live.
October 30, 2015 his symptoms progressed, vomiting, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, fatigue and he ended up back in emergency with kidney failure and told he has one to two weeks to live.
Since then hospice set up a bed and supplies for his visits and he has been taking medication to keep him comfortable.
Please keep us all in your prayers.
