Support Jeff's Journey to Full Recovery

Well, the last month has definitely been one of the most interesting ones of my life, to put it mildly. As most of you know, I went to the ER thinking I had a pinched nerve in my back, and ended up having a quadruple bypass surgery. After 17 days in the hospital, I am walking my little butt off and finally starting cardiac rehab this week, which is supposed to last for the next 3 to 4 months. My progress has thankfully been mostly 2 steps forward, 1 step back, but there have been some bad days. This is definitely going to be a bit of a process to get fully recovered and back to work.
Unfortunately, while insurance has been great and prompt about covering the actual medical bills and expenses, my application for financial aid and support has become mired down in a bureaucratic swamp. While it looks like I will eventually have some success, some of my interviews and appointments have been pushed back until May, and unfortunately, the bills and expenses keep coming in, and until my sternum heals, I am just incapable of doing any work.
I hate doing this, but I am reaching out to friends and family to hopefully help make ends meet until I am able to jump through all the hoops involved to receive some much-needed aid to help me make a full recovery. Thanks with all my heart, Jeff
