Ali’s Fight Against Cancer

Our sweet, hilarious, creative, loving Ali was recently diagnosed with clear cell adenocarcinoma ovarian cancer— a very rare and unthinkable reality for our angel-girl. As she fights the most challenging climb of her life, we kindly ask for prayers and financial support from friends and family.

Ali was admitted to Saint Mary’s on Tuesday, July 5 with excruciating abdominal pain. The medical team discovered blood clots throughout her body, including brain, heart, spleen and lungs; as well as a large mass on her ovary. After nearly 7 weeks in the hospital (both Saint Mary's and Northern Nevada Sierra Medical Center), 5 surgeries and many procedures, Ali has started the long road of chemotherapy.

Her case is particularly sensitive, as her body is in a "hypercoagulative" state which means she is extremely high risk for movement or additional surgery. While doctors continue to pursue treatment and consider alternative therapies, we are praying over our beloved sister, daughter, mamma, wife and friend. We are also praying for her sweet husband, Stephen, and their gorgeous daughter, Elouise.

Thank you, from the depths of our hearts, for every bit of support and love. She has a very long road ahead, and we will march alongside her. We are faithful and thankful, and we know that God has her in His hands.
