Don't ever take life for granted and always get a second opinion when you get a medical diagnosis that doesn't make sense... Murray has been suffering with headaches for some time now and was told it was arthritis... He went to the hospital saturday morning with the worst headache of his life.... He was sent to Belleville for CAT scans and they found a large aneurysm. He was flown by helicopter immediately to Kingston where he was told that the aneurysm he has was rare and the surgery was a very high risk because of the size and location.. But they were going to do an MRI first thing Monday morning to see if there was a positive outcome... His daughter stayed by his side all weekend and they had a nice visit... He visited with myself and close friends throughout the day... He held his daughter and grand daughter Scarlett's hand and told them he loved them... His daughter and husband were told to go home to get some rest... They drove back to Peterborough and called the hospital to let Murray know they made it home safely.... He went into cardiac arrest and shortly after the aneurysm ruptured... He was pronounced brain dead and on life support. His daughter had to make the decision to take Murray off life support on Monday Oct 5th.... As many of you know, Murray was a great man; he touched many people's lives and would do anything for anyone. His daughter was his world and Murray recently became a grandfather to his first grand child who lit up his life. He had many close friends and family who he cherished. He wasn't supposed to leave us this soon... As most of us know, funeral expenses can be very costly especially when prior arrangements were not set...and can be very overwhelming. Instead of sending flowers and cards to the family, donations to help cover outstanding funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
Murray was a great man and I know he will always be with us.
