My good friend Gerry has been diagnosed with PSC, Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis , a rare autoimmune liver disease that slowly degrades liver function. Due to the severity of this condition, he is on the list to receive a liver transplant at USC Keck Hospital. Gerry already suffers loss of liver function, which leaves him extremely fatigued, with diminished ability to work, and recurring liver infections.
Until now, Gerry has been able to survive several infections, but Doctors don’t know how long he can keep fighting. It is possible that Gerry will develop cancer before receiving the transplant, which would result in his death.
Please help Gerry to continue his mission to ease the suffering of others with alternative medicine. Over the past 15 years, Gerry has treated thousands of patients, relieved their pain, assisted couples to conceive children, and helped others cope with with chronic illness.
It is only fitting that Gerry receive assistance in his time of need, since he is without family to support him. He is receiving loving support from friends for emotional and financial support. However, PSC is a progressive disease that will soon eliminate his ability to work at all. We need help financially for rent, utilities, food, caregivers and expenses associated with his care.
