Beloved husband and father, Chris, fought for his life in the hospital for six long months, battling severe cardiac failure along with a multitude of other health issues.
For half a year, the hospital had been his home, a place of relentless beeps, sterile smells, and the constant hum of life-sustaining machines. Every day had been a rollercoaster of emotions – moments of hopeful improvement followed by crushing setbacks. We watched, helpless, as this strong, incredible man, battled this relentless disease.
It has been a grueling journey, not just for him, but for our entire family. We've spent countless hours by his bedside, holding his hand, whispering words of encouragement, and sharing memories of happier times. We learned to interpret the flicker in his eyes and the slight squeeze of his hand as messages from within when he was no longer able to speak.
Despite the immense challenges, our father's spirit never extinguished. He showed incredible resilience, fighting with every fiber of his being. And we, his family, fought right alongside him.
This experience has taught us the true meaning of strength, patience, and unwavering love. It has reminded us of the preciousness of every moment and the fragility of life. We are eternally grateful for the dedicated doctors, nurses, and medical staff who have cared for him with such compassion and expertise.
Chris went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2025 - leaving our family devastated trying to figure out how to continue on. With 6 months of medical bills and an upcoming Celebration of Life for him - any and all help is appreciated.
Thank you for your love, your support, and your understanding during this incredibly difficult time.
